How it works
1. Register for free online
Registration will open this spring. Once registered, you’ll receive a free online personalized fundraising page where you can share your story and encourage friends and family to support kids fighting cancer at CHoR. Click here to sign up to be alerted when registration opens.
2. Follow us on Facebook @AnthemLemonAidRVA
Your stand photos could be posted on the Facebook page, so be sure to tag and follow us! We will also share event updates and patient stories.
3. Share your fundraising link
Post your online fundraising link on your social media and ask your friends and family to help you reach your goal.
4. Get your free supplies
Pick up your Anthem LemonAid kit. The kit includes two pouches of lemonade mix, a pitcher, 100 cups, a banner, stickers and instructions for submitting your donations. Additional details about kit pick up can be found on our FAQ page, details will also be sent via email to all registrants closer to the event. If you have any questions, contact Vaughan Clark at vclark@chfrichmond.org.
5. Set up your stand
On Anthem LemonAid weekend (July 17-19, 2026), set up your stand at your home, neighborhood pool, place of business or another high-traffic area. Sell lemonade and collect donations to support unstoppable kids fighting cancer. A map of participating stands will be posted on the website the week of Anthem LemonAid.
6. Your creativity may win a prize!
Enter the Most Festive Stand contest by emailing a photo of your stand to vclark@chfrichmond.org by August 1. A photo submission enters you for a chance to win a prize!
7. Submit your earnings
Once your fundraising is complete, submit the funds you raised by making an online donation through your personal fundraising page. Additional details about turning in funds can be found on our FAQ page.
8. Help local kids
Feel proud knowing that 100% of the funds you raise go to support kids fighting cancer at Children’s Hospital of Richmond at VCU like 2025's ambassador, Ava.
Thank you for making a sweet difference, if you have additional questions, please visit our FAQ page.

Volunteer hours
Many of our school-aged participants use the Anthem LemonAid event to complete volunteer service hour requirements. Although one of our staff members cannot sign off as acting supervisor, we will happily provide you with a post-event letter confirming your participation and total funds raised. Complete and submit our Acknowledgement Letter Request Form.
